From what i remember, in December, all i could think of is having youth musical practice, then youth musical practice, then more youth musical practice. Other than that, its been youth musical practice. I Praise God for Aarika and her writing skills. The script for Acts of Faith is really awesome. While going over my lines trying to memorize my part, it was very convicting. One of my lines was to memorize the verse Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

On another note, God has blessed me with some responsibilities such as the Y2 Ministry and teaching sunday school for Alex's class. It first started with Mike asking Amy if it was a good idea to ask me to join his crew of him and penny to teach the 9-12 yrs old. Apparently Amy said ya, and since then i've been praying about it and would also talk to Amy about it. She encouraged me get into this ministry as well. At first i thought of myself as a one-man wolfpack, but when Mike asked me to join him, my wolfpack grew by one. Then after finding out about Mike's friend Penny, i knew for sure that I added one more to my wolfpack. Three of us wolves running around the ministry to teach the Y2 Ministry.

Sunday school was fun too. Its just like teaching my

old VBS class for Boomerang Express so it wasn't all scary and nervous status. I thank God for blessing me with teaching the same kids i had for VBS.

I wake up to drink some of my drink from Yoshinoya at my bedside and also some water.

After i decide to read my bible but then realize it is in my car.

I read the first 2 chapters of Hebrews for my accountability group.

And also the book of 1 John (kudos to amy for telling me to read it)

Hebrews 1

The title of this passage was "The Son Superior to Angels" (NIV)

However for the ESV version the title is "The Supremacy of God's Son"

At first to me was, of course the Son is superior beacause Jesus Christ has to be superior than the angels. In the passage it says the Son is more legit than the angels because he is basically of God...

...²but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. ³He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins,^J he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, ⁴having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs...(ESV)

The part in the verse saying he is the heir of all things and created the world, the radiance of the glory of God the exact imprint of his nature, and my favorite, upholds the universe by the word of his power. That's so crazy stuff, like don't mess. The heir, basically you're entitled to everything...dude, He owns us.

To me the second version of the title seemed more like, dude this is serious.

And of course this is serious, it's the word of God, anywhoo...

I like the beginning of this passage...

...¹We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away...(NIV)

So that we do not drift away...for me i visualize a piece of paper just floating in the air slowly never touching the ground but getting ever so farther and farther from my position, its like in Animaniacs, the story of that golden gift wrapper who starts as a shiny gift wrapper for a Christmas gift and then drifts away and finds himself being used to gift wrap this small toy for a needy family.

Well in other words, the word drift just caught my eye cause like no one ones to drift from God, its a scary path.

What i got from this passage was, God is in control and we should put everything in subjection to him because he sent Jesus to die for our sins so that by the grace of God he would taste death for everyone, thats convicting.

⁹But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. (ESV)

Please bear with me, I just summed it up and didn't really go in detail of explaining a lot about the Hebrew passages.

Hopefully, my next one will be about 1 John, this book was awesome, i really enjoy reading it.

For accountability with Andrew Ho. Such an awesome dude. And now for add-on to our group or should i say a bonus...drumroll*...Alain Bonus!

Its pretty cool, being able to talk to people playing similarly to the battlegrounds as you. God is good, so good. The evolution of this accountability group is interesting as well. First it started from playing Left 4 Dead at E Games, then Burger King meet ups, then now the Hub Cafe. I kinda want to bring it back to playing Left 4 Dead haha, but its all good...it is what it is...Thats how it should be, brothers in Christ sharing their struggles, trials, sin, blessings, praying for each other, praying together, and encouraging one another to be mature men in Christ and lead an example.

Today was awesome. I praise God for a lot of things. This morning i got to work out with Moses at Pathfinder Park, that was intense. Sprinting up and down the hill supposedly 5 times but instead we did 4 because we got tired. After a lil yoga which didn't last long because we were tired. After i ended up waiting up for my mom because we needed to get passport pictures. It was all my fault though, i realized there was miscommunication with my mom because i wasn't clear in saying the times i was leaving, and so the passport pictures were last minute and all in a rush. My patience was tested once again. I ended up cooling down after i prayed.

After that it was on to the beach trip. Unfortunately Moses couldn't go because he was blindsided with other affairs. I picked up lidja with my mom after costco and got ready at my house while amy met up at my pad. The beach was a blessing. Hanging out and talking with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and seeing old faces. The water was awesome even though it seemed cold at first but honestly it was great. Ninja in the waves was crazy too. After the beach we were all hungry like horses or i was of course...rimshot*...we had the choice of tacos or burgers. I ended up eating a mushroom burger which was great and part of kathleens idk burger. We went to cold stones and i realized how thick ice cream was and how now i favor frozen yogurt haha. The car ride was chill and fun with amy, lidja, and chelsea. Then all of a sudden it was a party car and we passed by Penny's car and that was a lot of laughs. All in all, today was a great tuesday fellowship and i'm looking forward to saturday.

My goal is to be intentional.

VBS was awesome, tiring, but awesome. God is so good and it was such a blessing seeing all those kids there. My patience was tested for sure with my 5th/6th grade class. Aljay was a great assistant and i give him a lot of kudos for staying strong the whole week for his first time in staff. During that week of VBS i felt like i grew closer with a few people, people i haven't had the chance to talk to and hang out with for awhile. That was refreshing. Other than that, the next VBS theme is gonna be a doozy.

So yesterday's activity was swimming at Yolanda's house with the kids. After picking up

the pizza and going there, Mac, Yolanda's husband asks for a favor. The favor was to

unscrew 2 screws in the deep end where the filter is then attach the filter back on

with the 2 screws. It took awhile with no weights so a pole was used in place of it.

When the deed was done, Mac and Yolanda are stoked about the filter fixed, that

Yolanda gives me a beer. An awesome day it was...

So I was browsing ebay for paintball guns. Specifically the Tippmann 98 custom preferably with

the flatline barrel. First, all I could find were packages and what not, then, there it was...

No joke, I wasn't planning on buying it, I thought bidding

would be fun. Apparently I was the first

bidder and expected other bids to go through because it was a low price but unfortunately no one did.

Now I have a Tippmann arriving in 2-7 days.

Rowland Heights

So after chillin at my cousins pad in Fullerton, i called bail bonds to get me out. On a side note,

my bail bonds agency is Moses ha. After 20 mins or so i got picked up. On the way back to my house,

after turning left on Nausika from Colima there was an old chinese lady standing in the middle of the

road. At first we didn't know what to do because she wasn't doing anything. We knew she wanted to

cross but she just stared back at us smiling. Moses flipped his high beams on and off and nothing.

Eventually Moses gave the hand signal to go ahead and cross and she dead very slowly, passing by the

car looking at us. After it was clear, we bounced so fast that our knees hit our forehead.

Day, 2, 3, ZOO

"RATHER LATE POST, BUT BETTER LATE THAN NEVER"

So the past 2 days were the usual, PS3 and Yogurtland with the kids. The only thing different was Wednesday when Amy drove my mom and the girls and i took the boys to Sams Club. It was something new ha but other than that it was a great day. WHOA! I totally forgot about tuesday fishing. That was interesting because we had 2 new people, Amy and Bhianne. It was the usual fishing, chilling, and jokes. Unfortunately the fish count was pretty low since there was a ton of people fishing, other than that it was all good.

Today was awesome, I praise God for the safe drive back and forth. The animals there were sweet and the company was great, Amy and my nephew Adam.

Day 1

No school this summer, instead a job. The job isn't that bad. All i do is play video games or go out and chill. Today was pretty sweet. My mom and the kids and moses walked to "The Row" to get some air. Moses, Eric, and I shot around.

Eventually 2 guys, Tyler and Kyle, wanted to play 2 on 2. So me and Moses decided to take on this challenge. Eric just sat down and watched. I guarded Kyle and Moses took on Tyler since he was taller. Ball in. I scored the first 2 points with some lay-ups. Score was 2-0. Early in the game there were a lot of missed shots. Apparently a scent of green was upon them which enabled them to be a bit slower.

2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 4-2, 5-2, 6-2, 7-2, 8-2, 8-3, 8-4, 8-5, 9-5, 9-6...

Most of these shots were outside shots and a few lay-ups by me and Mose, as for them lay-ups were a bit difficult and resorted to shooting it. The last 2 shots were fierce, non-stop, heart-pounding, charlie's angels squealing crazy. It was our ball and Moses claps for an outside shot, 10-6. No joke it was a big throw off. Next point i decide to pass it again because i was tired, and Moses lays it up all awkward but ends up making it.

Final Score 11-6

On a side note from the previous blog, i am no longer taking the art class, which i do kind of miss...

Around mid afternoon, the deed was finally done. Before, it was always buggin me to do what i needed to do. It could've been a pride issue which i think it was. I was so stubborn putting it aside but now i feel like its a new day. Now i have discipleship with Pastor Ed every tuesday at 5. I'm really looking forward to this. God is good.

Some other things:

Wolverine Origins is such a great game, after playing it on John's computer(Amy's brother) haha.
Ping pong is finally up and running.

Success in finishing 1 out of 4 compositions, though it was easy. I think this art class will soon start getting time consuming, but other than that, this class is great. Church was interesting. From what i remember, the word that stuck in my head was flips...i really don't know why, but i do know the pastor said it a few times...will do further investigation...

Fast forward to the Baptism. It was really crate, no joke. Truly a blessing was seeing Amy Baby getting baptized. Honestly, in all seriousness, no joke, I praise God for witnessing someone who was at first caught up with the world, progress to turning to God and wanting to be a Godly woman.

In other words, i took time to realize that i haven't been consistent with my walk, and being an example to others. Today was a heavy realization, and i mean heavy, like hip hop anonymous heavy.

In continuation from the previous blog, there has been a lot of progress. Already, it has been 3 months and then some, since chilling at Beezy. Though sometimes there are some those exceptions to meet up, but overall, kickin back there has been limited. Focusing on school is a big priority especially when a habit was suddenly revealed.

Since Spring began, like i said, "Start Strong." As of now its been good, although its only been 2 weeks and about to

hit the 3rd week, I've managed to take t

The movie Watchmen, was awesome, no joke...well not OFF THE HOOK status, but it was a marvelous. Watchmen was as close as to the comic, most of the lines, the scenes, the chapters. However, not all the scenes were accurate, Zack Snyder, the director, provided similar ideas that actually made the movie work.

Christmas...

Well, it's that time of the season again ay!

The time for...
...Listening to 103.5 because of all the Christmas Songs that they play constantly, to the point, where the dread starts to creep in.
....Going last minute Christmas shopping for them loved ones and ending up having to buy the gifts you already planned on not purchasing.
...Receiving gifts when you haven't given anything to anyone and feeling a sense of guilt when in reality its all goood.

This past Sunday night, 14, I had one of those conversations. You know, "those conversations" the ones that give you insight, a reality check, or an epiphany. The discussion revolved around the topic of "Family first."
Unfortunately for some of us, it's quite difficult balancing out family and friends, or even more important...God.

The past 2 years, the whole kickback thing started at coffee bean. Then later migrated to Starbucks, which is also known as "Starbeezy", "Drewbucks", "The Couch", or the notable one "My Starbucks."

As far as one knows, all our bad habits began to develop.

The feeling of guilt finally started seeping in gradually...because at first, it felt like a katana going through the center of my chest with a minor ache. Apparently I was so caught up with denying everything and making sure the conversation was wrapped up.
Apparently as the conversation ended, actually a harsh evaluation of my errors, the pain was like vhhhHHHOOOM! as if the katana was extracted from my chest in a swift motion without any further pain then the grew and was painful.
In addition more talking and talking which i of course had some good laughs.

Unfortunately, everyone is chillin, which is what i want to do...I'm saying this statement with a lot of fervor "which is what i want to do"
Some are racing/drifting...Always sometimes.

The Dark Side

Well...I took in consideration making one of these blogs so brace yourself guys.

What is the dark side?

According to Wikipedia or the author who wrote it, the dark side (Star Wars), is portrayed as the evil aspect of the force. The dark side draws its energy from aggressive feelings, all strong emotions even positive emotions such as love, to create purely harmful energy.
The dark side allows emotion to empower itself.

* Jedi, therefore, forsake passion and emotional attachment while the evil Sith feed off of it~

Rock Bottom:

* Running away from God and not wanting to turn back to Him no matter what
* Being stubborn, hard-headed
* Being caught up with worldly things and enjoying it too much
* Having the mindset of no one to turn to
* Depressed, bottling up everything

Who is part of the dark side?
The dark side is distinguished by the ones who are:

* Currently at rock bottom
* Climbing out of rock bottom slowly
* The ones expected by their families to do great and be successful but unfortunately do the opposite greatly
* Masters of disobeying their parents
* Not in good terms with their parents at all
* Not letting go of their bad habits

Red Lightsaber:
The symbolic meaning of the red lightsaber is the pride that we carry. Our pride speaks for us, and verbal communication is said without hesitation. Our nonverbal communication conveys staring people down. It's like watching 2 gunslingers go at it just walking past eachother.

When do you become part of the dark side?

- When everything is supposedly "perfect" in your life.

The dark side is the trail that leads to rock bottom, no reference to the wrestling move that the most electrifying man does. The long trail that leads all the way down is usually a long trial that the individual is too stubborn to fix and is passive about. He/she just puts it all behind them. As time progresses the trial gets larger and harder to overcome while more trials are added to it. Basically, you're digging a hole that will be tough to get out of, but not impossible...

The trials could be anything. The possibilities are endless. However, the one trial that sticks out the most is not being on good terms with your parents.

Here is an example from the Dark Side Vendetta,
"The trail to the dark side is like driving your car on a rainy night and the road is slippery. Suddenly your tires aren't biting the road and you start swerving. You try to counter steer but the rain starts getting heavy and the chances of not getting into an accident become very slim. Trying and trying and trying everything you can to straighten out your car to make it lined up with the road become difficult. You're running out of ways because it "seems" like there is no way to fix it. So you end up crashing."

How do you join?

If you're wondering how you join the dark side, the answer is... you don't...

...YOU BECOME!

Why conform to the dark side?

It all dwindles down to the Sith Conduct.

Here’s a list of why you become part of the dark side and possibly stay:

* Given up on about almost everything
* Hopeless
* Attention to detail
* Pride
* Lethargic
* Denial

How does leaving the dark side work?

My answer?

Simple...When your relationship with God is awesome. Your walk with God is consistent and you’re counting it all joy.
Having an accountability partner is a great way to start because you both can edify each other and both mature spiritually.

However it doesn't just stop there...going back to dark side is effortless but can be also avoidable.

What keeps the Dark Side together?

Because the dark side watches each others back...

Nobody is left hanging whatsoever. Everyone always lends a helping hand no matter what the cost is. However, at times we get caught up in trying to help that certain individual and we forget about everything else/everyone else, such as priorities with family. As i previously stated, trouble with parents is quite a trial. Setting are priorities straight is a challenge in itself.

God always comes first in your life.

Family is second...

This is just a tad bit of info about the dark side. I will continue writing about it and dwell upon some other issues that coincide with it.
